We always work very closely with our clients, because we believe that the success of a job depends on our having the fullest possible understanding of our clients' needs.
We believe that the proper investment of time at the start of a project
to allow us to listen and respond to our clients' requirements
and assist them in developing the project brief is essential to
the project's success. We prepare a wide range of sketch proposals
for discussion with
our clients in order to explore the full range of opportunities
open to them, and to allow the collaborative development of the
final design.
Most of our work is for institutions that have a long-term interest in their estate. We know from experience how important it is that all architectural design should be future-proof, and that the design process should look beyond the brief so that each design decision allows the development of our clients' aims for the future. We are the retained architects for a number of institutions for whom we have provided services over a number of years from the design of major new buildings and masterplans to maintenance programmes and refurbishments.
