Interior and Furniture Design
We believe that interior design is integral to the overall
success of the design of the building and is difficult to separate out
from the art of architecture. Cullum and Nightingale have developed a particular
expertise in the design of furniture which has ranged from the complete
fitting out of interiors to one-off pieces and light fittings.
We have experience in all aspects of interior design including choice
of colours, materials and finishes (and with appropriate specialist advice
where appropriate) the selection and design of fabrics and carpets.

Cullum and Nightingale were responsible for the complete furnishing
and fitting out of the new guest house - including the bespoke design
of beds, chairs and other furniture.
Cullum and Nightingale designed the fitted furniture and light fittings
for the new library in Swiss Cottage, London.
The
refurbishment of the upper storeys of a period building in the environs
of Hampstead. Completed 2002.
Refurbishment of the eight floor of the Grade 2* Listed Economist
building in St. James's, including the design of desks and carpets.
The practice was involved in every aspect of the new building down to the design of the showcases and even the display busts.
Cullum and Nightingale were engaged to transform and upgrade the entrance and reception area for this small industrial conglomerate to coincide with their change of name.
The practice has carried out a number of works for the Futon Company - including the complete redesign of their flagship store on Tottenham Court Road.
