Farringford

Farringford House is a Grade 1 Listed building which was once the home of Alfred Lord Tennyson. The property consists of the main house (currently a hotel), parkland and gardens, a 9-hole golf course and some 30 cottages (used for holiday accommodation).

Kilburn Nightingale are drawing up a long-term Masterplan for the property and undertaking a phased programme of works in site. The masterplan comprises the restoration of the historic building and the sympathetic development of the site as a whole, including the demolition of inappropriate and low quality structures and the insertion of carefully planned new buildings.
