A large proportion of our work has involved historic and Listed buildings and has given us considerable experience of negotiations with Heritage and Planning authorities. We have carried out historically correct restoration along with sympathetic modern insertions, alterations and extensions.

by CABE and English Heritage as guidance on how to design modern buildings
for historically sensitive environments.

Cullum and Nightingale were invited to prepare a masterplan for the
Grade I listed house and ancillary buildings in the historic gardens
of this prestigious hotel.
The new main theatre for the School was completed

We have negotiated with English Heritage and the Royal Fine Art Commission
over the design of a new building associated with the (as yet unrealised)
masterplan for the Grade 1 Listed Battersea Power Station.
