RIBA AWARD WINNER 'New British High Commission, Kampala, Uganda'
Cullum and Nightingale's British High Commission project in Uganda has been annouced as a winner of the prestigious RIBA International Award, 2008. The building has also been shortlisted for the Lubetkin Prize.

'We were shown into a new suite the owners have just converted from the old laundry. The result was impressive. A commodious sitting room was followed by a great bedroom and, adjoining it, a bathroom whose main feature was an enormous copper bath big enough for a threesome if you were so inclined.' [ more

Parker Library, Corpus Christi College, Cambridge
We are currently working for Corpus Christi College on a project
to provide a new secure vault, along with associated reading
rooms for the famous Parker Library.
New Beach Bar Restaurant on Bequia, the Caribbean
Due to open early in 2007, Cullum and Nightingale are currently
working on a new bar restaurant on a beach on Bequia, St. Vincent
and the Grenadines. This follows on from another successful project
already completed on the island for a Guesthouse.

Refurbishment of two floors of the Economist Building
Cullum and Nightingale is in the process of refurbishing the
first and eighth floor of the Grade 2* Listed Economist Building,
a modern masterpiece by Peter and Alison Smithson in the heart
of London.

Richard Nightingale receives his award from HRH The Duke of
Gloucester KG GCVO
Cullum and Nightingale has won an award for their "outstanding"
work on their new Eco-resort in Guludo project, Mozambique. In
the category of Small Consultancy Firm of the Year 2005, the BCCB
British International Expertise Awards "highly commended" the
"tangible and visible project".

INTACH Conference, India
Richard Nightingale participated in a two-day conference in Hyderabad
at the invitation of INTACH (the Indian National Trust). The theme
of the conference was Heritage and Development and Richard Nightingale
gave a paper entitled 'Vital Heritage' on modern design in heritage
settings.

Victoria Memorial Hall, Kolkata, India

House for an Artist, Dulwich
Cullum and Nightingale have designed a house adjacent to the
artist's new studio (awarded a Civic Trust Commendation in 2002).
The shell of the new building is now complete, ready for the next
phase of work.
